Accommodation

The lodge comprises of 20 chalets which each sleep 4 people of which some are self-catering. The other facilities available are conferencing, restaurant and bar.The chalet-styled room have a double bed downstairs and a loft area with 12 single beds. There is a refrigerator, tea-and-coffee making facilities and a TV. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and free toiletries. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. The property also offers special diet menus. Barbecue facilities are available on request. An array of activities is offered in the area, such as fishing and hiking.

Activities

There is a hiking trail starting from the road just north of the lodge, which takes about two hours to complete. The trail is rocky and steep, and goes down the ridge towards the valley below the lodge.

Magadzavane Lodge is located at the Entrance Gate to the mlawula Nature Reserve, just 20 minutes' drive from Siteki and near the goba border. magadzavane Lodge was officially opened by His Majesty King Mswati 111 in March 8th 2012 and it is located in a natural bush veld environment in mlawula Nature Reserve. It is situated near Siteki town (Swaziland lubombo region) and 12km from mhlumeni border that leads to Maputo (Mozambique) which has a 24hr border and makes it ideal for guests that want to drive to Mozambique and experience a different vibe and not have to worry about border closing times. Mlawula Nature Reserves offers you an opportunity to view a variety of plants and animals, and is excellent for birdwatching. If you feel like taking time out you can enjoy yourself by the pool side and enjoy the cocktails prepared by our very creative barman.
