THE KHULA TREE PROJECT is an indigenous tree planting & growing initiative. By purchasing our trees, you are planting a seed of change in the Kingdom of Swaziland and contributing to conserving our natural heritage. Trees are essential to our survival. They provide us with many useful things, reduce global warming, provide oxygen, stabilize soils, cycle nutrients and help keep us and our planet healthy. However, they are being removed quickly, so we need to plant more trees to restore this balance. All our trees are grown from seed collected from wild indigenous trees. The Khula Tree Project encourages the establishment of local small nurseries as a livelihoods initiative in the rural areas of Swaziland.
